Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated June 6, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone using LeonHost. It protects our infrastructure and other customers. Breaking it may lead to suspension or termination without refund.
Prohibited content & activity
- Anything illegal under applicable law, or that infringes others' intellectual property.
- Malware, viruses, phishing, or pages designed to deceive or harm visitors.
- Spam, bulk unsolicited email, or open mail relays.
- Child sexual abuse material, content promoting violence, or harassment.
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, or other accounts.
- Cryptocurrency mining, botnets, DoS/DDoS participation, or proxy/VPN abuse.
Resource use
Hosting is on a shared server. Don't use a disproportionate share of CPU, memory, disk, or bandwidth in a way that degrades service for others. We may throttle or suspend accounts that threaten server stability and will try to contact you first where practical.
Security responsibilities
Keep your applications, plugins, and themes updated (WordPress sites have automatic updates enabled by default). You are responsible for compromises resulting from outdated or insecure code you install. We may take action on accounts that are compromised or sending abuse.
Reporting & enforcement
To report abuse, email leon.licht@gmail.com. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this AUP, with or without notice depending on severity.
